Mattico International LLC is a brokerage firm established in Miami in 2016 and active in the biofuels and waste-based feedstocks industry. Local team has many years of experience in trading a wide range of commodities and has developed excellent commercial, contractual, financial, administrative and logistic skills which help us understand and better accommodate the needs of our customers, as well as face the challenges of this ever-changing sector.
Mattico is active on a worldwide scale but, being strategically located in Florida, it can better assist all the major biofuels players located in North America and Canada as well as control the flow of products primarily located in the Latam area.

Mattico International LLC is led by Filippo Basevi, an Italian native skilled commodities broker moved years back to the US and with over 30 years of experience in the world's commodities markets. Grown up in Genoa, historically one of the most important ports on the Mediterranean and the capital of one of the most powerful maritime republics for over seven centuries, he has developed excellent negotiation skills as well as acquired an undeniable knowledge of the brokerage universe of commodities, from the colonial products through food ingredients to the more recent biofuels and all related feedstocks. Thanks to this, he has earned the esteem of all the counterparts he has had to deal with, whether they were suppliers of products, services or customers.
